Stamping Top Coat Comparison

Heute gibt es für euch meinen Stamping Top Coat Vergleich. Ich habe auf allen Fingern die gleiche Base, das gleiche Motiv, den gleichen Stempellack und den gleichen Stamper verwendet.

Ich habe mich entschieden, die vier Lacke zu vergleichen, die ich am häufigsten über Stampings benutze. Einen Lack habe ich mir erst vor Kurzem gekauft, da war ich also selbst neugierig.

Immer häufiger habe ich in letzter Zeit den ÜNT Peelable Base & Top Coat über Stampings verwendet. Der Lack ist kein expliziter Stamping Überlack, funktioniert aber aufgrund seiner Zusammensetzung sehr gut dafür. Hier seht ihr ihn auf dem Zeigefinger. Er trocknet nicht so schnell und es ist auf jeden Fall sinnvoll, nachträglich noch einen Überlack zu lackieren, er verschmiert aber nichts, selbst wenn man mit dem Pinsel mehrmals über die gleiche Stelle geht. 

Wichtig: habt ihr keinen Peel-Off Lack als Base verwendet, könnt ihr das Design natürlich nicht abziehen.

Today I have a stamping top coat comparison for you. I used the same base colour, stamping plate, stamping polish and stamper for this comparison on all fingers.

I decided to compare the four polishes I use the most on top of stampings. One of them I only got recently, so I was really curious about that one!

Lately, I have used the UNT Peelable Base & Top Coat a lot over stampings. It is not called stamping polish, but works just as finde thanks to the water-based formula. I am wearing it on my pointer. It does not dry too fast and I would recommend using another topcoat afterwards, but you can go over the same spot more than once without causing any smudging or smearing.

Important: if you are not using a peel off base you will not be able to peel off the polish without causing damage to your nail!

🇩🇪 Auf dem Mittelfinger habe ich den Waterborne Top Coat von KADS verwendet. Der wurde mir empfohlen und auf ihn war ich sehr neugierig. Er trocknet etwas schneller als der ÜNT und ist auch explizit als Stamping Überlack ausgewiesen. Auch bei diesem Lack kann man mehrmals über die gleiche Stelle gehen, ohne dass das Stamping verschmiert wird. Bei diesem Lack empfehle ich euch ebenfalls einen zusätzlichen Überlack zu verwenden.

Beide Produkte (ÜNT Peelable Base & Top Coat und KADS Waterborne Top Coat) sind wasserbasiert und werden ohne Überlack vermutlich nicht lange auf euren Nägeln halten.

🇬🇧 On my middle finger I used KADS Waterborne Top Coat. It was recommended to me and I was super curious to try it. It does dry a bit faster than the UNT one, but still not too fast. You can go over the same spot more than once without smudging. With this one I would also recommend using an extra top coat.

For both the UNT Peelable Base & Top Coat and KADS Waterborne Top Coat I would recommend using an extra top coat for more durability.

🇩🇪 Auf dem Ringfinger seht ihr den No-Smudge Top Coat von Harunouta. Die erste halbe Flasche war auch ganz ok - wobei Der Überlack immer mal wieder geschmiert hat - aber mittlerweile ist er eigentlich kaum noch zu gebrauchen, wie ihr seht. Bestellt hatte ich ihn bei BornPretty, spiele jetzt aber mit dem Gedanken, ihn direkt zu entsorgen.

Wie ich gerade herausgefunden habe, ist er aktuell auch nicht mehr bei BornPretty im Sortiment.

🇬🇧 On my Ringfinger I used the Harunouta No Smudge Top Coat. The first half of the bottle was alright but now I don't want to use it anymore. As you can see it smudged a lot, but I didn't even go over the same spot twice.

I had ordered it from BornPretty, but they don't sell it anymore.

🇩🇪 Auf dem kleinen Finger habe ich den Ultra Matte von Trend it Up als Überlack verwendet. Ich hatte vor einiger Zeit gelesen, dass die meisten matten Überlacke Stampings nichts verschmieren und bei mir hat es mit diesem bis jetzt bei den meisten Designs super funktioniert. Es gab auch mal das eine oder andere, das verschmiert war, das war aber in der Regel immer dann der Fall, wenn ich mit dem Pinsel mehrmals über die gleiche Stelle gegangen bin. Hier wäre theoretisch nicht mal ein weiterer Überlack notwendig, es sei denn, ihr wollt das Design glänzend haben.

Diesen Lack bekommt ihr bei dm für ca. 2,00€. 

Übrigens: der Lack hat mittlerweile eine neue Verpackung und heißt nun UV Powergel Matte Top Coat. In einigen dm Märkten findet ihr möglicherweise auch noch die ältere Version in der runden Flasche.

🇬🇧 On my pinkie I used the Ultra Matte by Trend it Up. A while ago I read, that matte top coats hardly smudge stampings, which I tried with this one and it worked for me pretty well.

There were one or two designs, where it smudged, but that was usually when I had to go over the same spot again.

With this one you theoretically don't even need an extra top coat, unless you want it to be glossy.

This polish retails at dm for about 2,00€. It does come in a new bottle now and they slightly changed the name to UV Powergel Matte Top Coat. 

🇩🇪 Fazit: Ich finde den Waterborne Top Coat von KADS im Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis eindeutig am Besten! Allerdings habe ich ihn bisher nur bei zwei Designs ausprobiert. Natürlich kann es mit unterschiedlichen Lacken und anderer Lackiertechnik auch zu unterschiedlichen Ergebnissen kommen.

Der ÜNT Peelable Base & Top Coat erfüllt mehrere Zwecke gleichzeitig, was mir auch gut gefällt, ist aber entsprechend teurer.

Auch mit dem Ultra Matte komme ich ganz gut klar und man kann den Lack im Nachhinein mit einem glänzenden Überlack versehen.

Für mich stehen der ÜNT und der Trend it Up damit auf gleicher Stelle, obwohl keiner davon ein ausgewiesener Stamping Überlack ist!

Der Harunouta No Smudge macht seinem Namen jedenfalls keine Ehre und leistet für mich nicht, was er verspricht.

Welche Stamping Überlacke verwendet ihr am liebsten?

🇬🇧 All in all the KADS Waterborne Top Coat is my preferred top coat at the moment and the price really makes it a steal! I am still trying it, so I might change my opinion after going through one bottle.

Also, please keep in mind that it might be different with other polishes or your application method.

The UNT polish is great as it cover two purposes at once, but it is definitely more pricey than the KADS polish.

The Trend it Up Matte polish is very easy to use and covers two purposes, too. 

For me they are both on the 2nd place while none of these two is a stamping top coat!

The Harunouta No Smudge disappointed me completely. It is called a stamping top coat and even says no smudge but it smudges almost everything.
