Hallo ihr Lieben,
auch wenn die Sonne schon länger nicht mehr so viel scheint, gibt es einfach ein paar Lacke, die auch im Winter nicht in meinem Schrank stehen bleiben.
Jetzt mal ehrlich, Holo geht einfach immer, oder nicht?
Auch wenn die Sonne sich nur kurz zeigt, kann ich kaum aufhören meine Nägel anzustarren, wenn ich Holo-Lacke trage.

The Scent of Azaleas ist mein erster Lack von a-england und ich bin so begeistert. Ich habe schon unzählige Bilder gesehen und habe über jedes gestaunt. Als ich den Lack in der Flasche dann vor mir hatte war ich ehrlich gesagt ein wenig enttäuscht. Auch unter meiner Tageslichtlampe hat der Lack überhaupt nicht holographisch gewirkt. Er sah einfach... langweilig aus. Dann habe ich den Deckel abgeschraubt und wurde direkt überrascht. Schon am Pinsel hat der Lack wunderbar geschillert.
Der Lack ist beim Auftrag wie ein typischer Holo-Lack. Man sollte besser nicht zwei Mal über die gleiche Stelle mit dem Pinsel lackieren, da der Lack sich dadurch ungleichmäßig verteilt und sich durchscheinende Stellen bilden. Ansonsten deckt der Lack auch schon mit einer Schicht sehr gut. Ich habe dennoch zwei dünne Schichten aufgetragen, damit der Lack auch wirklich gleichmäßig aussieht. The Scent of Azaleas hat nach dem Trocknen ein Satin-Finish.
Ich habe noch eine Schicht meines schnelltrocknenden Überlackes aufgetragen und war überrascht, wie anders der Lack auf einmal gewirkt hat. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass der Lack nicht mehr so holographisch schimmert. Sobald der Überlack getrocknet war, war aber schon wieder alles gut und ich habe bestimmt fünf Minuten auf meine Nägel gestarrt, bevor ich etwas anderes machen konnte. Mein Mann fragte mich darauf hin "Machst du heute auch noch Fotos oder starrst du die Nägel noch länger an?" Er kennt das schon von mir.
The Scent of Azaleas is my first ever a-england nail polish. I have seen so many pictures and swatches and I have always been amazed. So when I got hold of my first bottle I was kind of disappointed. Even in bright lighting the polish seemed... well.. boring and not at all holographic. Of course I was very surprised when I took off the cap and the polish on the brush was super holographic.
The application can be compared to other holographic nail polishes. If you go over the same space twice it gets streaky. Otherwise it is very opaque and one coat could actually be enough. I applied two thin coats, anyway, just to make sure that everything would be very even.
It dries up with a satin finish, which I don't really like that much. For that reason I put on one coat of my fast-drying top-coat. After that The Scent of Azaleas seemed a bit dull, less holographic, but that changed as the top-coat dried and in the end the nail polish was just as holographic and glossy.
I kept staring at my nails for about five minutes until my husband asked me if I was going to take some pictures or if I would keep staring at my nails. Well, he knows me.
Am Ende habe ich dann also doch noch ein paar Bilder gemacht, aber ich muss meine Finger immer wieder ins Licht halten und schauen, ob der Lack immer noch to soll schillert. Wie verrückt :D
In the end I took some pictures as you can see but I am still staring at my nails from time to time, just to make sure the polish would still be holographic. So weird :D
Getragen habe ich den Lack nur einen Tag, da ich trotz Überlack ziemlich starke Tipwear hatte und sogar an den Seiten der Nägel der lack abgeblättert ist. Das ist zwar schade, aber so ergeht es mir bei den meisten Holo-Lacken.
The nail polish stayed on my nails for one day only. I got tipwear super fast, even though I was wearing a top-coat and the polish started peeling on the sides of my nails, too.
I do have this problem with most of my holographic polishes.
Habt ihr auch schon Lacke von a-england in eurer Sammlung? Welcher ist euer Liebster Lack der Marke?

- 1 Schicht High Intense Nail Hardener - Trend it Up
- 2 Schichten The Scent of Azaleas - a-england
- 1 Schicht Top-Coat - Lacura
For my design I used:

- 1 coat Top-Coat - Lacura
